Dunlin

Travelling home from Lincoln I decided to pop into to Toft Newton Reservoir to have a quick look around. Meet Dean and had a nice catch up with him and he told me about some Dunlin showing well around the reservoir. So I found them and got them in the location I wanted with the sun behind. I thoroughly enjoyed being in the presence of these 3 birds which walked up to me and past me within half a metre.

It was this big honest

How charming

Looks like he's trying to do what he was doing in the previous photo

  1. Absolutely amazing photographs ! Bird photography is also a very challenging endeavor, requiring specialized skills and equipment – one does not simply pick up the camera used for family vacation photos and capture compelling avian images.
