21/03/2012 Cleethorpes and Humberston
It was a beautifull sunny day so I headed for Humberston with the intentions of heading for the boating lake. Arriving in Humberston I walked behind the Fitties and onto the golf course to my suprise on one of the small ponds there was a Whooper Swan with 2 Mutes. On to the Fitties nothing much really only 1 Ruff and 1 Turnstone of note. Heading on down to the boating lake I was hoping for some wheater on the way but none around. At the boating lake most of the Tufted Duck seem to have gone aswell have the Pochard sadly. So my attention turned to Gulls and Geese. Only thing of note was a Juv Med Gull briefly my first for some years so was well chuffed :)

Red-thraoted Diver Covenham Reservoir
On saturday I found a Red-throated Diver at covenham reservoir, it was onyl my second sighting of this bird and no doubt the closest I will ever get. The bird has oil on its chest and is very lethargic hence letting me get so close down to 5 metres at one point! Other birds around 10 Goosander 5 males 5 females and 1 Buzzard.
